Diet For Healthy & Beautiful Eyes

Healthy diet, good sleep and some natural treatments can help you keep the eye irritation, redness and other infection at bay. Take a look to know what to eat to get healthy eyes.

2. To soothe the eyes and reduce the pressure, cucumber juice, ash gourd juice, a teaspoon of castor oil or just ice water work great. They reduce puffiness, relieve stress and also cure head aches and giddiness caused due to stressed eyes.
3. Eating an almond (soaked in water and peeled), dates, soya beans, green peas that are rich sources of vitamin A are also nutritious for healthy eyes.
4. Green leafy vegetables like spinach, lettuce, cabbage and turnip increase the red blood corpuscle count and improve vision.
5. Dairy products like cream, milk, cheese, butter are also an important part of the eyes diet. They relax the eyes after a strenuous activity and also provide eye vitamins.
6. Herbs like tulsi, trifla (triphala) are widely used in ayurvedic medicines to cure eye problems. The medicinal properties of the herb improve eye sight and that is why its extract is consumed as juice with water and honey.
