Turmeric
A compound known as curcumin present in turmeric has medicinal value. Yes, it is anti-diabetic in nature. Many studies support the ability of curcumin in reducing blood glucose levels.

Fenugreek
Some studies claim that fenugreek can reduce fasting blood sugar levels, average blood sugar levels and even post-meal levels of blood sugar.
They contain soluble fibre which lowers blood glucose levels. It works by slowing down the rate of absorption of carbs in your meal.

Cinnamon
Cinnamon works by lowering insulin resistance. It can reduce blood glucose levels by nearly 24%.
It is said to reduce glucose absorption after you eat something.

Aloe Vera
Aloe vera is also said to lower blood sugar levels. A study confirmed that it shows its effect mainly on fasting blood sugar levels.
Some sources claim that aloe vera juice can reduce the blood sugar levels by almost 50% in just a few months. It is said to clear the excess amounts of sugar in the blood. More evidence is required to confirm the same.

Though blueberries can't do the job alone, the high levels of antioxidants in them can work well in preventing diabetes.
