Paush Amavasya 2025: Do These Most Powerful Rituals For Closure On The Final Amavasya Of The Year
Carlos Alcaraz Becomes Wimbledon Champion, This Is What He Loves To Eat, Check Out The List!
Carlos Alcaraz triumphed over Novak Djokovic in straight sets to retain his Wimbledon title. This victory allowed Alcaraz to match the Open Era record for most Grand Slam wins and join Roger Federer as the only players to win their first four major finals.
From the outset, Alcaraz controlled the match, taking the first set 6-2 and repeating the score in the second set. Although Djokovic rallied in the third set, Alcaraz clinched the win in a tie-breaker. This was Djokovic's eighth Wimbledon final, but he couldn't secure his record-breaking eighth title.

Alcaraz's victory also stopped Djokovic from surpassing Margaret Court's all-time Grand Slam titles record. The win places Alcaraz among an elite group of players who have won both the French Open and Wimbledon in the same year, including legends like Rod Laver, Bjorn Borg, Rafael Nadal, Federer, and Djokovic.
He is now the youngest player to win Grand Slam titles on all three surfaces. He began playing tennis at a young age and made his ATP main-draw debut at just 16 years old. His first major title came at the 2022 US Open, and he has continued to impress since then.
Know the favorite foods of ace tennis player Carlos Alcaroz.
From his pre-game pasta to sushi dinners before match day, Carlos Alcaraz's diet is as varied as it is strategic. The 20-year-old Wimbledon champion follows a mantra: "Eat well, rest well, always train at 100 percent."
Unlike Novak Djokovic, who adheres to a strict gluten-free and plant-based diet, Alcaraz is more relaxed about his food choices. He often says he'll eat "whatever is put in front of (him)." However, his regimen is far from careless.
Breakfast Options He Abides By
Alcaraz's breakfast marks the start of his training day. He consumes bananas frequently and enjoys fish dishes. His pre-match meals usually consist of pasta with Ambrosia, a cocoa, and hazelnut cream free from added sugars and oils. This balanced approach ensures he gets the necessary nutrients without compromising on taste.
Focus On Nutrition
Nutrition plays a crucial role in Alcaraz's performance. He takes creatine monohydrate supplements from Crown Sport Nutrition during training. His energy bars, made from oatmeal and dates, also contain guarana, known for reducing fatigue and boosting energy. These bars are essential during tournaments to maintain his stamina.
Alcaraz's physiotherapist, Juanjo Moreno, also advises him on nutrition. Together, they ensure that every aspect of his diet supports his athletic goals. Whether it's meat with potatoes or rice with fish, Alcaraz pays close attention to what he eats.
Favourite Foods
When at home in Murcia, Alcaraz indulges in hamburgers and pizza. He also enjoys cooking for friends, preparing dishes like meat with potatoes and tortillas. One dish he hopes to master is salt-baked seabass with roasted potatoes.
Sushi is Alcaraz's go-to dinner before match days. He frequents Cambio de Tercio, a Spanish restaurant in London known for its tapas. This variety keeps his diet interesting while providing the necessary fuel for his matches.
Supplements And Drinks
Supplements are closely monitored in Alcaraz's diet. Besides creatine monohydrate and energy bars, he reportedly takes plant-based supplements like ragweed. His preferred drink is gin with lemon, adding a touch of indulgence to his otherwise disciplined regimen.
Alcaraz's approach to food reflects a balance between enjoyment and nutrition. While he may seem laissez-faire compared to Djokovic, every choice is deliberate. This balance helps him stay at the top of his game while enjoying the culinary delights life offers.
This unique blend of discipline and indulgence has undoubtedly contributed to Alcaraz's success on the court. By paying attention to both nutrition and enjoyment, he maintains peak performance while savoring life's pleasures.
