While most dairy products are bad for acne, yoghurt is one of the best foods for acne prevention, as long as you have it fresh, and not too fermented. It is full of skin repairing protein, and its probiotic actions in the stomach calm acidity, which in turn prevents your skin from flaring up.

Fish
This is one of the top foods for acne prone skin. It contains inflammation fighting omega 3 fatty acids, which prevent your skin from erupting in acne. Make sure you have it steamed or baked to minimise oil to get the most out of these foods for acne prevention.

Whole grains
When you eat foods high on the glycaemic index like white bread, and white grain flour and rice, your sugar levels peak. Eat brown rice or whole grain foods to slow down the sugar production in your body.
It is quite obvious that simple and natural foods keep acne at bay. Avoid artificial, over-processed foods at all costs.
