Lakme Fashion Week 2023, day 3 saw a spectacular runway that was filled with Bollywood celebs and inspirational, stunning outfits. From Sushmita Sen, Rashmika Mandanna, Tara Sutaria, Sara Ali Khan, Diana Penty, Parineeti Chopra, Taapsee Pannu, Zeenat Aman, Kalki Koechlin and more, the runway was lit with light, sound and style!

1. Athiya Shetty

Actress Athiya Shetty turns showstopper for designer Namrata Joshipura whose latest collection was all about contemporary fabrics and sparkles and speaks volumes about disco elegance. The actress was seen wearing a purple sequinned jumpsuit that has a plunging V-neckline, cut-outs on the waist and embellished sheer cape sleeves attached on the back. The flared hems added depth to the overall look.

2. Diana Penty

Disha Patil is known for her luxury bridal wear and this year in Lakme Fashion Week, the ace designer chose Diana Penty as the showstopper to showcase her outfit for the collection ‘ Hasu', which is derived from two words ‘hachi (bee) and su (hive), which basically means ‘beehive'. The idea was to show the rise of beauty in a place of despair, just like the lotus, that made the backdrop of this runway. Penty looked stunning in a white silver embellished silver skirt that was filled with floral detailing. Her makeup was dewy and the look showed how women, just like lotus can be equally bewitching.

3. Parineeti Chopra

Ace designer Ritika Mirachandani chose Actress Parineeti Chopra to showcase her collection. The actress looked stunning in a white bralette blouse teamed with a matching high-slit skirt. She completed her look with a full-sleeved shrug and wore a diamond necklace and earrings. She had smoky eye makeup and nude lips that matched perfectly with the tone of the dress.

4. Rashmika Mandana

Actress Rashmika Mandanna walked the ramp for designer JJ Valaya and she looked completely breathtaking in black and gold couture. The gilded blouse was backless and she wore a golden belt and shoes that added depth to her look. For her makeup, the actress did smoky eyes and nude lips. Her hair was tied in a tight bun and the stylish draping technique made her class apart on the ramp.

5. Tara Sutaria

Tara Sutaria turns the showstopper for Annu's Creation and she wore a beautiful pink and golden lehenga. The gorgeous actress donned a pink hue lehenga that had a mirror design and golden threadwork all over. To flaunt the traditional outfit, she wore a heavy ethnic jewellery set. The collection by the designer brought back the old charm with a modern twist and the choice of colours, intricate embroideries showed true craftsmanship.

6. Sushmita Sen

Fans called Sushmita Sen ‘a celebration of life' as she shines bright like summer in a beautiful yellow lehenga by Anushree Reddy. The actress suffered a heart attack recently but surprised the audience by walking on the ramp on the third day of Lakme Fashion Week. Her look featured a heavily embellished lehenga, a net dupatta wrapped perfectly around her body. She wore a pair of beautiful earrings, rings, necklace, and heels and completed the look with a small bindi.

7. Sayani Gupta

Sayani Gupta looked stunning in a quirky white and orange asymmetrical dress for the brand Jajaabor by designers Kanika and Neelanjan. The entire collection was about busy prints, vibrant hues and a perfect blend of retro and contemporary. The actress looked like a glam doll in that dress that had a plunging neckline, short tulle skirt and long train at the back.

8. Sara Ali Khan

Sara Ali Khan was seen embracing bridal red as she became the showstopper for Punit Balana. The exquisite lehenga featured intricate embroidery, sequin work, gotta patti borders and applique addition and is a perfect wear for mehendi, sangeet or even wedding ceremonies. The layered lehenga had a heavily embroidered dupatta, quarter-length sleeves, plunging v-neckline, and midriff-baring short hem. A heavy and beautiful tassel was also tied on the side.

9. Taapsee Pannu

Taapsee Pannu wore a shimmery dark red evening gown for designer Monisha Jaising and she looked completely ravishing in it. The embroidered gown was full of sequins and she wore a broad golden necklace to further accentuate her look. The actress flaunted her curly hair and opted for a minimal makeup. The collection attempted to merge the MJ signature style of Luxury pret and couture styled perfectly with the exquisitely crafted jewellery by Reliance jewels.

10. Zeenat Aman

Veteran Actress Zeenat Aman gave us boss vibes in Shahin Mannan's black and red pantsuit. She flaunted her salt-and-pepper hair and wore a pair of sunglasses and black footwear to add oomph to her look. The abstract printed blazer along with black pants looked stunning as the actress exuded elegance and confidence while walking on the ramp.

11. Kalki Koechlin

Kalki Koechlin channelled the hippie fashion of the 60s for the brand Eshaa Amiin by designer Esha L Amin with grace and ease. The pop of colours, and the quirky prints looked stunning. The fashionista wore a top with matching pants and a faux fur jacket. For her hair, she added voluminous curls and Kalki gave complete retro vibes in that outfit.

12. Shanaya Kapoor

Shanaya Kapoor turned Show Stopper For Arpita Mehta in a beautiful contemporary yellow saree and tube blouse. The collection was inspired by a summery holiday mood and it beautifully blended bright colours, floral patterns and geometric prints to create stunning looks. The actress kept her makeup simple, clean and nude which further highlighted the gorgeous outfit.
