Author Ruskin Bond Gives Us A Major Winter Fashion Inspiration With His Nature-Inspired Cloak

Ruskin Bond

Our childhood days definitely include Ruskin Bond books. With a cup of hot cocoa in hand, Ruskin Bond books would take our mind away from the daily routine and homework. Away from the bustling cities, the author lives in a quaint cottage at Landour in Mussoorie but he has people from different walks of life visiting him at his home. Recently, the prominent writer had actor Anupam Kher and Mirzapur actress, Shriya Pilgaonkar visiting him and Ruskin Bond took to Instagram to share pictures with the actors. We not only noticed the immaculately-arranged bookshelves, the cheerful yellow paint, and wooden accents in the picture apart from the writer and actors but Ruskin Bond also had our attention with his long cloak.

Ruskin Bond mostly sports sweaters and cardigans as he resides in the lap of mountainous Himalayas, so his cloak was definitely a statement piece. It was a striking cloak with muted sensibilities and he looked distinctive. A Padma Bhushan awardee, Ruskin Bond wore a grey checkered sweater with a white shirt and trousers. He teamed his attire with a cloak that was winter-perfect and beautifully done.

His cloak was dark-hued, probably splashed in black colour. The cloak with full flared sleeves and lapel was enhanced by floral patterns in rust colour and green leaves. The cloak also had a matching knots belt and this was not the first time that Ruskin Bond sported this cloak. The author completed his look with a pair of signature spectacles. Ruskin Bond's cloak is certainly a fashion inspiration for us.
