Olympics 2024: 8 Fashion Brands That Athletes Will Be Sporting As Uniforms
Fashion and sports have always had a symbiotic relationship, with athletes often becoming style icons both on and off the field. As the world eagerly awaits the 2024 Olympics in Paris (Jul 26-Aug 11, 2024), it's no surprise that athletes will not only be showcasing their skills but also their sense of fashion!

Here are 7 fashion brands you can expect to see athletes wearing at the highly anticipated event.

Prada
Prada officially announced its collaboration with China's Women's National Football Team ahead of the FIFA Women's World Cup in 2023. The brand will be in charge of creating the team's uniforms. The China Women's Football Team has established a worldwide reputation and serves as an example for aspiring female players, drawing public and institutional attention to a democratic and inclusive sport. Since it is the year of the dragon, it is speculated that the team's official Olympic outfit will be in red, blue, and black hues.

Nike
From performance-enhancing running shoes to stylish activewear, Nike's presence at the 2024 Olympics is sure to be prominent both on and off the field. The brand announced that it will create track and field athletes on Team USA's Olympic clothes.
The track and field outfits, which are coloured in the national colours of the USA, included a tank top that was worn with tight sports bottoms for women and shorts for men, respectively.

Berluti
French luxury company Berluti has designed outfits for the team in the Olympic and Paralympic opening ceremonies. Since French style is known for its elegance and sophistication, similar style sensibilities are added to the blue custom-tailored tuxedos. As Team France takes the world by storm, these flawlessly constructed outfits are a testament to Berluti's commitment to exquisite craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail.

Le Coq Sportif
Stéphane Ashpool, the founder of Pigalle, worked with Le Coq Sportif, a French sportswear brand, to design the Olympic and Paralympic outfits for the French team. The team's outfits are created by Ashpool for each of the 60 disciplines it would compete in. The sporty apparels are designed to help athletes maximize their potential while staying comfortable and stylish.

J. Lindeberg
This year's USA Olympic Golf Team uniform will be made by Swedish company J. Lindeberg. The uniforms, which are red, white, and blue in honour of the US flag, are a true testament to patriotism. J. Lindeberg offers a collection of stylish everyday clothing, including cardigans, that are ideal for off-duty occasions, in addition to classic collared polos and skirts, which are slightly offbeat from traditional golf wear!

Asics
In March 2024, the Japanese sportswear company ASICS introduced the Australian Olympic team's new uniform for the Olympics 2024 and also stated that its collaboration with the team would continue. In keeping with the nation's national colours, the uniforms are designed in gold and green. With an Indigenous print woven into each item, ASICS's 2024 Olympic uniform proudly displays Australia's signature green and gold colours!

Chaumet
The medals for this year's Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris will all be created by the upscale French watch and jewellery company Chaumet. The hexagon, which is representative of the country, takes centre stage among the many extremely symbolic emblems on the medals. Furthermore, the use of rays highlights France's identity as the host country and pays tribute to the athletes' outstanding accomplishments!
