Tangy Masaledar Aloo Recipe
Potatoes are a favourite almost among all age groups. It is also the most simple and easy to prepare item. So, when you are in a hurry, you end up making potato curries almost every day. But aren't you bored of eating the same potato dish every day?
So, to tickle your taste-buds today we have a tangy masaledar aloo recipe for you. This aloo recipe does not require too much of time and can be prepared with spices easily available at home. This tangy masaledar aloo has a mix of different spices in it which makes it a perfect treat with rotis and parathas.

Ingredients
- Potatoes- 4 (boiled and peeled)
- Coriander seeds- 1tbsp (crushed)
- Cumin powder- 1tsp
- Red chilli flakes- 2tsp
- Chat masala- 2tsp
- Black salt- ¼ tsp
- Hing (asafoetida)- a pinch
- Cumin seeds- 1tsp
- Sugar- ½ tsp
- Salt- as per taste
- Oil- 1tbsp
Procedure
1.
Cut
the
boiled
potatoes
into
dices
and
keep
it
aside.
2.
Heat
oil
in
a
pan
and
add
cumin
seeds,
hing
and
fry
for
a
minute.
3.
Then
add
the
diced
boiled
potatoes
and
fry
for
3-4
minutes
on
medium
flame.
4.
Add
crushed
coriander
seeds,
cumin
powder,
red
chilli
flakes,
chat
masala,
black
salt,
sugar
and
saute
for
3-4
minutes.
5.
As
the
spices
get
coated
on
the
potatoes,
adjust
the
salt
according
to
your
taste.
6.
Once
done,
switch
off
the
flame
and
serve.
Your spicy and tangy masaledar aloo is ready to be served. Enjoy this dish with rotis.
