Roasted New Potatoes Recipe

Roasted new potatoes, side dish recipe:

Serves: 2-3
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 35 minutes

Ingredients

  • New potatoes- 6-8 (yellow skinned, washed and cut into quarters)
  • Garlic- 2 pods (minced)
  • Roasted cumin seeds- 2tsp
  • Black pepper powder- 1tsp
  • Salt- as per taste
  • Olive oil- 1tbsp

Procedure

  • Pre-heat the oven to 450 degrees F.
  • Mix potatoes with salt, black pepper powder and roasted cumin seeds.
  • Add olive oil and garlic. Mix all the ingredients till potatoes are coated completely.
  • Spread the potatoes on the baking dish and roast for 15-20 minutes (till the potatoes turn crisp and look brown).

Roasted new potatoes are ready to eat. Serve them hot with rice or rotis. If you want, you can even add grated cheese to have roasted new potatoes as an appetizer.
