Delicious Potato & Cabbage Curry Recipe

Today, we have a simple yet delicious recipe of potato and cabbage curry for you which is sure to enthrall your senses. Potato and cabbage curry is a simple preparation which does not require much time either. You can have it for any meal in the day and can also carry it in your lunch box.

Ingredients
- Cabbage- 1 (medium sized, shredded)
- Potatoes- 3 (diced)
- Onion- 1 (sliced)
- Ginger- garlic paste- 2tsp
- Tomatoes- 2 (finely chopped)
- Cumin powder- 2tsp
- Coriander powder- 1tsp
- Turmeric powder- 1tsp
- Green chilli paste- 1tsp
- Garam masala powder- ½ tsp
- Salt- as per taste
- Cumin seeds- 1tsp
- Bay leaf- 1
- Oil- 2tbsp
- Coriander leaves- 2tbsp (chopped)
Procedure
- Wash the cabbage properly with water. Keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and bay leaf. Fry for a minute.
- Add the diced potatoes, salt and fry for 3-4 minutes on a medium flame.
- Then add the sliced onions, ginger-garlic paste, green chilli paste and cook for 4-5 minutes.
- Mix in the chopped tomatoes, cumin powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Now add the shredded cabbage and mix well.
- Add salt, garam masala powder and cook on medium flame for 5-6 minutes.
- Once water starts coming out from the cabbage, cover the pan with a lid and cook for 8-10 minutes on low flame.
- Once done, remove the lid and switch off the flame.
- Garnish the curry with chopped coriander leaves.
Yummy potato and cabbage curry is ready to be served. Enjoy this vegetarian dish with rotis or steamed rice.
