Phalahari Kadhai Paneer Recipe: Navratri Spcl
Navratri is a time for feasting and fasting. But for those who are on a weight loss diet, this special Phalahari kadhai paneer is a safe option for you to prepare this evening for dinner. The Phalahari kadhai paneer is easy to make and if you are health conscious then this is a must try. The meaning of the word, Phalahari is fruit diet. This special Phalahari kadhai paneer recipe is made out of the most tastiest fruit which is tomato.

Working women and weight watchers here is a special Navratri dinner treat for you to get started on this evening.

Ingredients
- Paneer - 500gms (diced)
- Tomato - 8 nos (puree), 2 nos (diced)
- Cloves - 5 nos
- Cinnamon stick - 2
- Cumin seeds - 2tbsp
- Cardamom - 4 nos
- Pepper Corns - 3tbsp
- Ginger - 1tbsp (paste)
- Green chillies - 3 (sliced)
- Ghee - 1tbsp
- Salt to taste
Method
- On a medium flame, place a pan and wait for it to turn hot.
- Pour in the ghee and when hot, drop in the cloves, cinnamon sticks, cummin seeds, pepper corns and the cardamoms.
- Saute the ingredients together on a low flame.
- When done, empty the pan with the ingredients into another bowl.
- Coarsely grind the fried spices when cool and leave aside.
- Now in the same pan, drop in a another tablespoon of ghee and let it get hot.
- Add in the ginger paste to the ghee and the tomato puree as well. Stir the ingredients together and bring it to a slight boil.
- Now add in the ground spices and a cup of water to the mixture.
- When the mixture is hot and leaving the sides, drop in the diced paneer and the chopped tomatoes to the mixture.
- Simmer the stove for 6 minutes and let the paneer cook in the mixture.
- Drop in the green chillies and salt to taste. Give it a final stir and switch off the flame.
Your Phalahari kadhai paneer is now ready to eat. Enjoy this yummy Navratri recipe with rotis.
