Cabbage Palya

INGREDIENTS Cabbage Palya:

250gms Cabbage, Chopped
11/2 tsp Chili Powder
2 tsp Dhania Powder
2 tbsp Oil
1 tsp Mustard Seeds
1 tsp Turmeric Powder
2 tbsp Fresh Coconut, Grated
1 tsp Jaggery Powder
Salt to taste

METHOD Cabbage Palya:

Heat Oil in kadai(wok), add Mustard Seeds, when they start spluttering add Turmeric powder. To this add the Chopped Cabbage, Chili Powder, Dhania Powder, Salt and Jaggery. Mix well. Add 1 Cup Water and close the kadai with a lid and cook for 5 minutes.

Remove Cabbage Palya to a serving bowl and garnish with Coconut and serve with Rotis.
