Healthy Sprouts Pulao Recipe With Video
Nowadays everyone wants to eat healthy. The need for proper diet and fitness awareness among the urban population has created a huge demand for healthy food items. For example brown rice has gained huge popularity because of its numerous health benefits and weight loss properties.
So, today we have a healthy recipe for you which is prepared with two healthy items: brown rice and sprouts. This sprouts pulao recipe is an excellent option for all those who want to lose weight and yet keep your taste-buds satisfied. This vegetarian recipe is prepared with very less oil and minimum spices.

Ingredients
- Brown rice- 2 cups (cooked)
- Mixed sprouts- 1 cup (soaked in water)
- Onion- 1 (chopped)
- Garlic- 3-4 cloves (chopped)
- Ginger- 1tsp (chopped)
- Tomato- 1 (chopped)
- Capsicum- 1 (chopped)
- Salt- as per taste
- Turmeric powder- 1tsp
- Red chilli powder- 1tsp
- Pav bhaji masala- 2tsp
- Cumin seeds- 1tsp
- Oil- 2tbsp
- Water- ½ cup
Procedure
1.
Heat
oil
in
a
pan
and
add
cumin
seeds.
Allow
the
seeds
to
crackle.
2.
Then
add
the
chopped
onions
and
cook
till
they
are
translucent.
3.
After
that
add
the
chopped
garlic,
chopped
ginger,
turmeric
powder,
red
chilli
powder
and
chopped
tomatoes.
Mix
well
and
cook
for
3-4
minutes.
4.
Add
a
little
water
and
allow
the
tomatoes
to
cook
properly.
5.
Then
add
the
chopped
capsicum
and
a
little
water.
Let
the
capsicum
cook
for
2-3
minutes.
6.
Then
add
pav
bhaji
masala,
salt,
soaked
sprouts
and
mix
well.
7.
Add
the
cooked
brown
rice
and
mix
well.
8.
Once
done,
switch
off
the
flame
and
serve.
