Easy Indian Recipe For Diwali
Ghee Rice Ingredients (Kerala Style):

cups
Basmati
Rice
¼
cup
Ghee
1/2
cup
coconut
milk
1
cinnamon
1
clove
2
Bay
leaves
1
cardamom
(crushed)
1
tsp
cumin
seeds
Roasted
Cashews
and
Raisins
Salt
as
per
requirement
Ghee
Rice
Preparation:
1. Fry cumins, bay leaves, cardamom, cinnamon and clove in ghee. Add rice to the fried mixture and stir well for a few seconds.
2. Transfer the pan contents to the pressure cooker and cook with coconut milk, salt, water (3 cups) and the remaining ghee until three whistles.
3. Serve the ghee rice hot garnishing with ghee, fried raisins and cashews.
This easy Indian recipe serves 4-5.
