If you are been advised by your doctor to avoid rice and are bored eating chapatis everday then here is a good replacement for rotis and chapatis. Our special low calorie, oil free indian bread for the day is the “Jolada Rotti" recipe. Jolada Rotti is a famous north Karnataka recipe made of Jowar. The rotis are very soft and can be preserved for days. Take a look at how to prepare the famous Jolada Rotti recipe.
Jolada Rotti Recipe (Jowar Roti Recipe) -
Ingredients:
1. 2 cup Jowar Flour
2. 2 1/2 cups Water
3. Salt to taste
Jolada Rotti Recipe Preparation:
1. Boil water in a Vessel.
2. Add Jowar flour into boiling water with salt (as per taste). Mix well until it forms a soft dough. Allow it to cool.
3. Knead the dough well and take a ball of the dough, roll it into roti.
4. Fry the Roti on pan without oil. Wet the top of the rotis with little water and bake until light brown. Flip the other side and cook the same way. Tasty Rotti ready to serve.
Relish the tasty Jowar roti with ghee and hot gravy.
