Healthy Bajre Ki Khichdi Recipe From Haryana
Bajre ki khichdi is a special dish from the states of Haryana and Rajasthan. When we talk of khichdi, we can only think of rice and dal cooked together with a few other ingredients. This is the reason why most people find khichdi as a dull thing to eat. But with the right ingredients and cooking style, even khichdi can be made into a sumptuous meal.
Bajre ki khichdi is not only a tasty dish, but is also extremely healthy. Bajra or black millet is a great source of proteins, iron and folic acid. This makes it a perfect food for pregnant women too. The mild flavour of the khichdi and the unique taste makes this vegetarian recipe a tempting treat.
