Gujrathi Karhi

Ingredients:
200gms Curds/Yogurt
30gms Besan/Gram flour
40gms Jaggery
' tsp Mustard seeds
A pinch of Hing/Asafoetida
' tsp Fenugreek seeds
2 Whole red chilli
6 Curry leaves
3 Cloves
2 Cardamom
2 cups Boiled water
1 Green chili
' tsp Chopped Ginger
12tsp Oil
Salt to taste

Method:
Mix Yogurt, Gram flour and water well without forming any lumps.

Heat Oil in a pan/kadhai and add Fenugreek seeds, Asafoetida/Hing, Curry leaves, whole Red chili, Cloves, Cardamom and the Yogurt mixture.

Add Jaggery and Salt, stir continuously till it comes to a boil.

Add more water if necessary. Simmer for 20 minutes on fire.

Remove to a serving dish and serve with Roti's or plain Rice.
