Yummy Treat: Cauliflower With Yogurt Gravy
Tried of indulging in those spicy treats the whole week? Well, we have something better for your taste buds this afternoon - cauliflower with yogurt gravy. This cruciferous veggie is not loved by many since it belongs to the broccoli family. If you thought that cauliflower is bitter, you are wrong! This recipe which Boldsky has shared with you will fill your tummy to the max. It is healthy at the same time it is yummy.
To prepare this cauliflower with yogurt gravy, you should keep in mind that it is a sweet dish. Adding too much of spice to this gravy will hinder the taste. While preparing this yummy cauliflower with yogurt gravy, continue to stir the gravy with a thin spoon. This will prevent the delicate flowers from breaking.

All You Need
- Cauliflower - 3 cups ( chopped into pieces)
- Oil - 3 tbsp
- Jeera Seeds - ½ tsp
- Mathi Dana - ½ tsp
- Rai seeds - ¼ tsp
- Hing - ½ tsp
- Besan Flour - 2 tbsp
- Haldi - ¼ tsp
- Red Chilli Powder - ¼ tsp
- Ginger - 1 tbsp (sliced into strips)
- Green chilles - 1 (sliced)
- Curd - ½ cup
- Salt - to taste
- Water - 1 cup ( approx)
- Cilantro for garnishing
- Garam Masala - 1/ 4 tsp


Procedure
1.
Heat
the
oil
in
a
saucepan
over
medium
flame.
When
hot
add
cumin
seeds
to
the
oil
and
wait
for
it
to
splutter.
2.
Add
in
the
fenugreek,
mustard
seeds,
and
asafetida
to
the
pan
and
stir.
When
the
seeds
crack,
lower
the
flame.
3.
Now
add
the
besan,
stir
fry
for
about
one
minute
until
you
see
the
besan
turning
into
a
light
golden
brown.
4.
To
this
mixture
add
in
the
ginger,
green
chili,
turmeric,
red
chili
powder.
Using
a
flat
spoon,
stir
fry
for
about
one
minute.
Now
add
to
the
dish
the
yogurt.
Blend
in
the
yogurt
well
with
the
ingredients
that
is
in
the
pan.
5.
Add
in
water
and
salt
to
taste.
Bring
it
to
boil
and
then
add
cauliflower.
Allow
the
vegetable
to
cook
for
18
minutes.
When
the
cauliflower
is
cooked.
Turn
the
heat
off
and
sprinkle
the
cilantro
and
garam
masala.
