American chop suey, vegetarian recipe:

Ingredients

  • 500 gms boiled noodles
  • vegetables; mushroom, carrot, capsicum, onions, cabbage sliced in julienne cutting
  • 3-4 baby corn pieces sliced in middle
  • 5-6 garlic pieces finely chopped
  • salt
  • 3-4 green chillies
  • 4-5 tbsp soy sauce
  • ' tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 1 tbsp chilli sauce
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder
  • oil
  • water (optional)

Directions to make American chop suey, vegetarian recipe:

1. Heat oil in a frying pan and add the boiled noddles. Fry till the noodles become crisp. Drain and keep the fried noodles in a tissue paper.

2. In a pan, heat 2 tbsp oil and add garlic, onions, carrot, capsicum, cabbage, baby corn, green chillies and mushroom. Cover the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes.

3. Now add salt, soy sauce, tomato ketchup, chilli sauce and mix well. Cook the sauce for 2 minutes. You can add little water if the gravy is in less quantity. Bring it to boil and put off flame after 3-4 minutes.

4. In a plate, put the fried noodles and then pour the gravy. Serve immediately.
