Orange Zest Chutney Recipe - South Indian Side Dish
Ingredients:

orange
zest
-

tsps
gram
dal
-

tsp
tamarind
juice
-
1
tsp
jaggery
-
1/2
cup
grated,
coconut
-
1/2
tsp
fenugreek
seeds
-
5-6
curry
leaves
-
Pinch
of
asafoetida
-
2
tsps
groundnut
oil
-
1/2
tsp
mustard
seeds
-
1/2
tsp
turmeric
powder
-
Salt
to
taste
Orange Zest Chutney Preparation:
-
Heat
the
oil
in
a
pan
and
fry
gram
dal,
fenugreek
seeds,
coconut,
orange
zest
(separately)
until
lightly
brown.

Add
tamarind
juice,
jaggery,
to
the
mixture
and
grind
it
into
paste.
-
Garnish
with
fried
mustard
seeds,
curry
leaves
and
pinch
of
asafoetida.
Tasty
orange
zest
chutney
is
ready.
