Sweet N Hot Noodle Recipe For Bachelors

Here is how you make the sweet and sour noodles, take a look:

Serves: 1
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • Noodles- 500 gms
  • Onions- 1 (chopped)
  • Tomato- 1 (chopped)
  • Sugar- ½ tsp
  • Peas- 2tbsp
  • Carrots- 1 (finely chopped)
  • Soya sauce- 1tsp
  • Lime- ½ tsp
  • Green chilli- 1 (sliced)
  • Water- 1 cup
  • Oil for frying

Procedure

  1. In a pan, pour in a little oil and make it hot on a medium flame. When the oil is hot, drop in the chopped onions and fry them till they turn a golden brown in colour.
  2. You now need to add in the green chilli and the fry it well with the onions. The green chillies need to be fried well until you see a white thin coating over the sliced chilli.
  3. Now add in the chopped tomatoes to the mixture and fry it over a medium flame. Fry the ingredients well together they are properly cooked.
  4. Add a little water to the mixture and allow it to boil for 5 minutes or so.
  5. When the water is boiling well, drop in the peas and carrots to the pan. Let them cook for about 5 minutes on a medium flame.
  6. Now add to the pan, the noodles and pour a little more water if necessary.
  7. When the noodles begin to cook, sprinkle sugar over the ingredients and give it a good stir.
  8. Now cover the pan and allow the noodles to cook well under pressure.
  9. After about 6 minutes of cooking, drop in the soy sauce and the lemon juice and mix the cooked noodles well.

You will know when your sweet and hot noodles is ready to eat when the noodles look soft and appetising. Enjoy your sweet and hot noodle with tomato or garlic sauce.
