Ingredients:

1. 1 Ridge gourd (peeled, de-seed, sliced round)
2. 2-3 cups Gram flour (besan)
3. 1 tsp cumin seeds
4. Pinch of asafoetida (fried)
5. Salt according to taste
6. Chili powder
7. Oil for frying

1. Mix all the above ingredients (except ridge gourd and oil) into thick batter.
