Kids love anything which is fried and crispy. When you add potato to any dish, the kids love it all the more. If your kid loves potatoes, then you should surely try this fried aloo puri recipe. It is one of the best on our list.
Though the fried aloo puri recipe does not consume much time, it does take up a lot of strain on your back as it involves preparing the dough and rolling it.
Here is how you can prepare the fried aloo puri:

Ingredients
- Atta / Maida - 4 cups
- Aloo - 150 grams
- Coriander leaves - 1 sprig
- Garlic - 6 clives
- Green chillies - 4 pieces
- Oil - for frying
- Salt to taste
Procedure
- You first need to boil the aloo, peel and mash it with a spatula.
- Now grind the coriander leaves, green chillies and garlic together to form a paste.
- Add the mashed potatoes into the paste. Add salt for taste.
- Keep the dish aside.
- Now take flour in a bowl and pour in two tablespoon of oil. Mix the oil with the flour, add water to make a dough.
- From the dough, make small balls and stuff it with aloo mash.
- Now use the belan or rolling pin to flatten it out to make puris.
- Switch on the cooking gas and on a medium flame, place the pan or karahi.
- Put refined oil in the pan and wait for it to turn hot.
- When the oil is hot, shallow fry the puris. Fry the puris, till they turn golden in colour.
When the puri is fried, place it on a plate with absorbent paper to remove the excess oil. Your aloo puri is now ready to eat. You can enjoy your yummy breakfast with a curd dip.
