Delicious Chapati Rolls: Breakfast Recipe
It is a herculean task for all mothers to make their kids eat healthy. The kids keep complaining about the same boring chapatis and vegetables. So, what is the solution? Creativity with food has no limitations if you know the right ways to present it.
Here is a creative way to feed your kids the same chapati and vegetables that they complain about. You just have to roll up the vegetables in a tasty and attractive package. Ingredients
- Chapati- 4 (can be leftover as well)
- Onion- 1 (chopped)
- Garlic- 2 cloves (crushed)
- Beans- 5-6 (chopped)
- Carrot- 1 (chopped)
- Cabbage- ½ cup (chopped)
- Sweet corn- 2tbsp
- Chilli powder- ½ tsp
- Coriander powder- 1tsp
- Salt- as per taste
- Oil- 2tbsp
Procedure
- Heat oil in a pan. Add the onions and fry on medium flame for about 2 minutes.
- Add the garlic and fry for about a minute.
- Now add the vegetables, sweetcorn and cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Add coriander powder, chilli powder, salt. Mix well, cover and cook for about 10 minutes. Stir at regular intervals.
- Once the vegetables get cooked, switch off the flame.
- Put this vegetable filling in the middle of the chapati.
- Roll the chapati and wrap it with a silver foil.
Delicious chapati rolls are ready to be served. You kids will definitely enjoy this treat.
