Dosa:

rice
(soaked

cup
urad
dal
(soaked
5
hours)
'
puffed
rice
1
tsp
fenugreek
seeds
1
tsp
sugar
Salt
according
to
taste
Pinch
of
baking
soda
For
Masala:
2
potatoes
(boiled,
peeled,
mashed)
Onions
(ghee
fried)
Salt
according
to
taste
For
Chutney:
1
cup
fresh
coconut
grated
4
green
chillies
1
tsp
sugar
A
small
piece
ginger
Chopped
coriander
leaves
3
tsps
fried
gram
Pinch
of
asafoetida
1
tsp
oil
'
tsp
mustard
seeds
Salt
as
per
requirement.
Procedure:
1.
Grind
the
dosa
ingredients
into
smooth
batter
and
refrigerate
the
batter
overnight.
2.
On
a
hot
pan,
spread
the
batter
like
pancakes
(thin)
and
fry
both
sides
with
ghee.
3.
Combine
all
the
masala
ingredients.
4.
Grind
the
chutney
ingredients
into
thick
paste.
Serve
the
ghee
fried
golden
dosa
with
a
portion
of
masala
and
chutney.
Delicious
davangere
benne
dosa
is
ready.
While
serving
the
dosa
recipe,
add
little
butter
on
the
dosa
and
serve.
