Rice Chivda Recipe (Dry Poha) – Summer Breakfast Recipe
Ingredients:

rice

flattened

mustard
seeds

dry
coconut
(grated)

dried
red
chilies
5.
Pinch
of
asafoetida
6.
4-5
curry
leaves
7.

tsps
refined
oil
8.
Pinch
of
turmeric
powder

Pinch
of
chili
powder
10.
Fried
cashews,
almonds
and
raisins
11.

cup
chana
dal
12.

cup
roasted
peanuts

Salt
to
taste
Chivda
Preparation:
1.In
a
pan
of
oil,
fry
mustard
seeds,
asafoetida,
red
chilies,
curry
leaves,
dried
coconut,
turmeric,
chili
powder,
roasted
peanuts,
chana
dal
in
the
same
order.
2.Add the rice flakes and roasted Cashews, Almonds and Raisins to the mixture in mix well. Delicious chivda is ready.
This Chivda recipe can be stored in a dry container for how ever long. Enjoy the crunchy munchy recipe with a hot cup of coffee or tea.
