Chatpate Aloo Recipe For Kids
Mothers have a tough time in making their kids eat healthy meal. Especially when it comes to breakfast, the kids become moody. It is very difficult to make kids eat something which is good for their health. The reason for your kid not eating a healthy meal could be the taste of the food. Kids do not like bland food. They love sweet or tangy foods which are appealing to their palate.
So, to help you with today's breakfast, we have a tangy and tasty aloo recipe for you. This recipe is called the chatpate aloo. Chatpate means tangy. This breakfast recipe is prepared with a mix of various spices and the dash of dry mango powder which adds to the tanginess. It is an excellent breakfast option if you want to make your kid eat healthy and take care of his taste-buds as well. Also you can have this recipe packed in his/her lunch box. Your kid will be definitely be delighted by this tangy treat.

Ingredients
- Baby potatoes- 250gms (boiled and peeled)
- Red chilli flakes- 2tsp
- Garlic- 10 cloves
- Roasted cumin seeds- 2tsp
- Dry mango powder- 2tsp
- Pepper powder- 1tsp
- Black salt- as per taste
- Oil- 2tbsp
- Coriander leaves- 2tbsp (chopped)
- Water- ¼ cup
Procedure
- Grind the garlic, roasted cumin seeds, red chilli flakes, pepper powder with a little water into a coarse paste. Keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the boiled potatoes for 4-5 minutes on a medium flame till they turn golden brown.
- Then add the prepared paste, dry mango powder, black salt and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
- Add in the water and mix well. Cook for 5 minutes on a low flame.
- Once done, switch off the flame and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
Chatpate aloo recipe is ready to be served. It can be relished with chapatis or bread.
