Aloo Bhatura Recipe For Breakfast
We are sure most of you must have heard about chole bhature. It is one of the signature dishes of the Punjabi cuisine. The chole is basically the chickpeas curry and bhatura is a kind of poori or deep fried Indian bread which is slightly bigger in size.
A regular bhatura is made out of maida or all purpose flour only. But we have made a variation in this recipe by adding boiled potatoes to the dough. This aloo bhatura recipe is a sheer blessing for your taste buds. These crisp aloo bhaturas are filling and is a perfect breakfast to try out. Everyone in your family, especially the kids, will surely love this dish.

Ingredients
- All purpose flour (maida)- 2 cups
- Potatoes- 2 (boiled)
- Curd- ½ cup
- Salt- as per taste
- Oil- 1tbsp
- Oil- for deep frying
Procedure
1.
Peel
the
boiled
potatoes,
grate
them
and
keep
it
aside.
2.
Take
the
all
purpose
flour
in
a
bowl
and
add
the
grated
potatoes,
curd,
one
tablespoon
of
oil,
salt
to
it.
Mix
it
properly
with
your
hands.
3.
Add
a
little
water
to
the
mixture
to
knead
a
soft
dough.
4.
Keep
the
dough
covered
with
a
wet
muslin
cloth
for
15-20
minutes.
5.
After
that,
heat
the
oil
in
a
deep
frying
pan.
6.
Make
medium
sized
round
balls
out
of
the
dough.
7.
Roll
out
the
balls
in
the
shape
of
a
chapati.
8.
Now
place
these
chapati
shaped
bhaturas
into
the
hot
oil
carefully.
9.
Fry
till
all
the
sides
of
the
bhatura
are
cooked
properly.
10.
Once
done,
transfer
the
bhaturas
to
the
serving
plate.
11.
Repeat
the
same
steps
to
make
more
bhaturas.
Aloo bhatura is ready to be served. Enjoy these hot aloo bhaturas with chole or chana sabzi.
