Schezwan Sauce Sandwich – Tasty Snack Recipe

Schezwan sauce is one ingredient that adds a jest to your daily food. The spicy-tangy flavour of this sauce makes it one of the most used ingredients in almost all types of dishes. Schezwan sandwich id one way to use this sauce and give a twist to a normal sandwich.
Ideal for the lunch box and an evening snack, a schezwan sauce sandwich is sure to be a sure hit with your kids. Adding various vegetable to this sandwich recipe, makes it a healthy snack as well.
Schezwan sauce sandwich recipe -
Ingredients for schezwan sauce sandwich:
- 1 tomato – finely chopped
- 1 small cabbage - finely chopped
- 1 onion - finely chopped
- Paneer - finely chopped / grated
- 2-3 tbsp – tomato sauce
- 3-4 tbsp – schezwan sauce
- 3-4 tbsp – green chutney (grind together pudina, coriander & perpper into a fine paste)
- 1 large sandwich bun
- 1-2 tsp – oil
- Salt to taste
Method to prepare schezwan sauce sandwich:
- Heat some oil in a pan and fry onion, till they turn transparent.
- Next add the cabbage and tomato and cook till it is almost cooked.
- Next add the paneer and cook again.
- Tip in both the tomato and schezwan sauces and cook again till all vegetables are well-ccoked.
- Add salt and check taste.
- Take the sandwich bun, scrape out some of the inside part so that you have space to fill in the vegetables.
- Put some butter or oil on a pan and fry the sandwich bun (upside down) till it is mildly roasted.
- Fill in the vegetable mixture and serve.
Tasty schezwan sauce sandwich is ready to savour!
