Mixed Fruit Halwa

Ingredients:

10 dates
50 gms Raisins
1/4 cup milk
4 ripe Bananas
20 Cashewnuts
10 Blanched almonds
1cup sugar
1/2 cup water
Milk of 1/2 coconut
1/2 tsp Saffron
1/2 cup Ghee
1Tbsp Rose Water
2 tsbp Honey

Method:

Grind raisins and dates using a little milk.
Mash bananas.
Grind Cashewnuts and chop almonds.
Make a syrup of one thread consistency using sugar and water.
Add bananas and cashewnuts mixed with coconut milk. Cook for 5 minutes.
Add ground dates and raisins. When thick, add ghee gradually.
Add chopped almonds and saffron soaked in rose water.
When mixture leaves the sides of the pan remove from heat.
Add the honey and pour into a plate and decorate with chopped nuts.
