(depending
on
size
of

mould)
Preparation
time:
20-25
minutes

Ingredients
- Black til- 1 cup
- Jaggery- 1 cup
- Peanuts- a handful
- Water- ½ cup
Procedure
- Heat a frying pan. Dry roast the black sesame seeds on a low flame. Mix well and roast for about 3-4 minutes till the colour of the seeds turn a little golden.
- Once done, spread the roasted sesame seeds on a flat plate and let it cool.
- On the other side, crush the peanuts and keep in a bowl.
- Meanwhile, boil water in a deep bottomed pan. When it comes to the boil, add the jaggery and melt it. Stir well so that the jaggery is melted properly.
- Once the syrup thickens in the pan, add the roasted sesame seeds and mix well. Take the pan off flame.
- When the mix is still hot (and cold enough to hold in palms), start preparing ladoos. Grease your palms with water to make round shaped balls easily.
Do it at the earliest as the jaggery hardens after cooling. Prepare the ladoos and store in an air tight container for 10-15 days.
