Eggless Brownie: Dessert Recipe

Brownie is loved by all. We all start salivating inside our mouth after seeing a plate of brownie. The way a brownie is presented can tempt anyone. The soft brownie is topped with hot chocolate sauce and chocolate chips or finely chopped nuts.

Most of the vegetarians avoid brownies as they are made with eggs. Well, you do not have to control your cravings for this dessert as the recipe can be modified for you. Eggless Brownie: Dessert Recipe

Eggless brownie, dessert recipe:

Serves: 3-4
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • Dark chocolate- 100gms
  • Maida- 1 ½ cup
  • Castor sugar- 1 ½ cup
  • Milk- ½ cup
  • Baking soda- 2tsp
  • Vanilla essence- 1tsp
  • Walnuts- 2tbsp (chopped)
  • Chocolate sauce- 1 cup
  • Chocolate chips- 2tbsp
  • Strawberries: 4-5 (sliced)
  • Butter- ½ cup (for greasing)

Procedure

  • In a bowl, sift maida with baking soda. Keep it aside.
  • Meanwhile, grease the baking dish with butter. Line the baking dish with a butter paper.
  • In another bowl, mix butter with chocolate. Mix well till the chocolate melts and becomes smooth. Now microwave the butter and chocolate mix for 1 minute in the microwave on high temperature.
  • In a large bowl, add sugar and vanilla essence. Beat the ingredients well. Add the sift flour and baking soda, chopped walnuts in the bowl.
  • Now slowly pour water to make a thick batter. Pour it on the greased baking dish and microwave for 10-12 minutes. If you are using a cooker, place in a double-boiler method and leave the cooker lid slightly ajar.
  • Check with a skewer and if the brownie is soft, take it out. Otherwise, microwave/cook for a few more minutes.

Take the brownie out of the baking dish. Cut into medium sized brownies pieces. Garnish with hot chocolate sauce and sprinkle chocolate chips. Keep the sliced strawberries beside the brownie on the plate.
