Festive season is back! With Christmas and New Year knocking on the door, it is time to make delicacies and celebrate the occasion with sweets. Christmas cakes are the most special delicacy of this festival. If you want to learn few easy to make Christmas recipe, then here is the butter sponge vanilla cake recipe for Christmas 2011. Butter sponge vanilla cake with nuts, easy to make Christmas recipe:

Directions
to
make
butter
sponge

cake

recipe:
1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.
2. Cream butter and sugar in a mixer till it becomes soft and fluffy. Now add eggs to the mix and keep mixing in the mixer.
3. Now add flour and yogurt and blend well. After the cake batter is prepared, add nuts and vanilla essence, mix and then pour it in a greased pan and bake in the preheat oven for 40-50 minutes till the cake becomes soft.
Butter sponge vanilla cake with nuts is ready. Cut into medium cake slices or pieces and garnish with nuts. Enjoy this easy to make Christmas cake recipe!
