Potato Cutlet Recipe For You
Potato made in any form is one favorite dish in every Indian home. This vegetable tastes good when baked or just fried in deep oil with salt and chilli powder. It tastes all the better when mixed with rich Indian spices and Masala.
Below
is
a
potato
cutlet
recipe,
to
give
you
a
special
feeling
when
you
eat
it
along
with
thick
tomato
sauce
or
simply
dip
into
hot
green
mint
chutney.
For
the
potato
cutlet
recipe
all
you
need
is
- 5 medium sized Potatoes
- garam masala
- coriander powder/Dhaniya powder
- black pepper
- salt to taste
- bread crumbs
- oil for frying
Directions
for
Potato
Cutlet
Recipe
1.In
a
tava,
boil
hot
water
and
place
the
potatoes
in
it.
Let
it
boil
for
sometime
along
with
the
skin
on
the
potato.
After
it
is
boiled
in
the
hot
water,
let
it
cool
for
sometime
and
gently
peel
the
potato
skin
off,
mash
the
potatoes
and
leave
it
to
the
side.
2.When the potatoes are ready to be made into cutlets, add to the mashed potatoes, the salt, garam masala, coriander powder and the black pepper.
3.Mix the contents well and see to it that there are no lumps. With the help of your palm, make the potato cutlets into round perfect shapes.
4.Dip the cutlets in the bread crumbs and deep fry in hot oil.
5.Let
the
potato
cutlets
fry
well
in
the
oil
till
it
turns
golden
brown
in
color.
Remove
from
pan
and
place
on
a
tava
with
tissue
paper
underneath
to
extract
the
extra
oil
on
the
cutlet.
Serve with tomato sauce or mint chutney.
