Directions to make Italian wine cookies recipe with honey, Christmas snack:
1. Warm oil and wine in a bowl on medium flame. Remove from heat after 2 minutes and let it cool. Now add flour and knead to make a soft dough. You can add few amount of water if required.
2. Now make small rolls of the dough and shape them into round cookies. With the help of a knife or fork, create few ridges to allow deep frying.
3. Heat oil in a frying pan and then fry the cookies till they become golden brown. Drain them in a paper towel.
4. Heat a frying pan and add honey. When the consistency becomes thin and water, add the cookies and immediately take them out. You can even dip the cookies in honey to get the flavour of honey in the crisp snack.
5. Italian wine cookies with honey is ready to eat. You can store them in air tight containers but use them within 2 weeks.
