Veg Starter: Chilli Gobi Dry Fry Recipe
This afternoon we want you to try out something better and much more delicious. The chilli gobi dry recipe is one of the best ways to start your afternoon lunch. This starter recipe is filling and above all the crispy nature of this recipe is what will make you indulge.
The gobi dry recipes you normally get to enjoy at any restaurant usually sees a little gravy on the side. This yummy chilli gobi dry fry recipe will not have any gravy which is why it is unique and tastes better. On the other hand, preparing this recipe you will need to use a lot of oil. So, make sure you drain out the excess oil after deep frying.

All You Need
- Gobi- 1 (diced)
- Flour- 4 tbsp
- Corn flour- 1 tbsp
- Baking Soda- ¼ tsp
- Spring Onions- 1 bunch ( finely chopped)
- Coriander Powder- 1 tsp
- Chaat Masala- 1 tsp
- Jeera Powder - 1 tsp
- Red Chilli Paste - 1 tsp
- Soya Sauce- ½ tsp
- Vinegar- ½ tsp
- Garlic- 1 (tsp)
- Ginger - 1tsp (chopped)
- Oil - 1 tbsp
- Salt To Taste
- Water - 2 cups

Procedure
- Take a deep microwave bowl. Add in the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, coriander powder, red chilli paste, soy sauce, vinegar, chopped garlic, ginger and salt to taste. Mix all these ingredients well with the help of your spoon.
- To this bowl, add a cup of water and mix the powder which is in the bowl to a slightly thick paste. Now add a spoon of oil to the bowl and then using an egg beater mix the ingredients well.
- When the contents are mixed add in the chopped gobi to the bowl and cover the vegetable with the help of the not so thick paste.
- Now place a pan and pour oil ( for deep frying). When the oil is hot, add the gobi in slowly. Deep fry till you see it turn golden in colour. Place the gobi on a plate consisting of tissue paper to drain out the excess oil.
- After 15 minutes, deep fry the gobi again in the pan. Remove from the oil, drain out the excess oil and keep aside.
- Now sprinkle a little chaat masala over the gobi fry. Mix the contents well.
- Now garnish the chopped spring onion and serve hot with chilli sauce as side dish.
