Homemade & Spicy Baby Samosas

It is extremely difficult to eat samosas in one bite but our baby samosas can be relished that way so have to look to prepare tasty indian snacks at home. Baby samosas contain a spicy potato stuffing that blends will with the crispy outer covering. The stuffing can be anything even non vegetarian. Here is how you make it.

Baby Samosa Recipe – Tasty Indian Snacks
Ingredients:

For Outer Covering:

  1. 1 cup maida
  2. Water to knead dough
  3. 2tbsp oil
  4. Pinch of soda
  5. Little salt
  6. 1/4th tsp.carom seeds
  7. Oil for frying

Stuffing:

  1. 4-5 mid-sized potatoes (boiled, peeled)
  2. 1/2 cup green peas (boiled)
  3. 2-3 green chillies (chopped)
  4. Chopped mint & Coriander
  5. 2 tbsp refined vegetable oil
  6. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  7. A piece of ginger (finely chopped)
  8. 3 Green chillies-finely chopped
  9. 1 tsp mango powder
  10. 1 tsp garam masala
  11. Salt to taste

Preparing Baby Samosas:
1. Add all the outer cover ingredients and knead the dough well. Leave it aside.
2. Make small balls of the dough and heat oil in a pan.
3. In another bowl, add all the stuffing ingredients and mix well.
4. Roll the balls flat in circles and with the help of knife slice it into half.
5. Stuff the potato mixture in one of the half and fold it into triangles.
6. Deep fry the samosa till golden brown.
Tasty samosa are ready. Serve it with sauce or sweet tamarind chutney.
