Pizza is a tasty and tempting treat that anyone would prefer, be it for lunch, dinner or an evening snack. Kids are very fond of this popular snack, and would never refuse having one at any time of the day.

On the occasion of 'Junk Food Day', we present to you an easy homemade pizza recipe. You can prepare your little one's favourite snack the easy way and throw away your worries about him consuming too much junk food.

Easy Homemade Pizza Recipe – Healthy Snack Recipe

Ingredients for homemade pizza recipe:

  • One medium sized whole-wheat pizza crust (thin)
  • 2-3 eggs
  • 1 medium sized onion
  • 1 medium sized tomato
  • 1 bowl fresh green peas (you can also buy frozen ones)
  • 1 medium sized capsicum (green / yellow / red)
  • Cheese
  • Black pepper powder / chilly flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • Ketchup

Method to prepare healthy homemade pizza:

  • Cut the onion in to two halves and thinly slice it. (so that it appears like semi-cirlces)
  • Similarly, cut the tomatoes and capsicum.
  • Boil the peas in salted water.
  • You can even parboil the capsicums, it you want.
  • Whisk the eggs in a bowl with salt and pepper or chilly flakes.
  • Apply this mixture on the pizza crust.
  • Arrange the vegetables on the pizza crust, along with the peas.
  • Grate the cheese on the vegetables.
  • Bake the pizza crust for 12-15 minutes in the oven.
  • Serve hot with ketchup.

This easy homemade pizza is sure to be a hit with your children and family.

Note: You can try different topping like baby corn, black olives or other veggies of your choice.
