Foie Gras Recipe – French Special Recipe

Foie Gras Recipe - Christmas Special
Grilled Foie Gras Recipe:
Ingredients:
1.1 lobe foie gras (refrigerated)
2.1 tsp Balsamic vinegar
3.2 tsp molasses
4.3 tbs red wine
5.Salt to taste
6.2 - 4 slices of whole grain bread, toasted and cut into wedges.
Method:
1.Heat the vinegar, molasses and red wine in a saucepan and allow to condense by half.
2.Remove the veins on lobe if present and gently cut the lobe into thick (1/2 inch) slices.
3.Refrigerate the slices until ready to cook.
4.Heat a nonstick pan on a medium flame and add slices into the hot pan, keep searing sides for 45 seconds (note that you do not over fry the slices).
5.Remove the baked slices from pan and drain the extra fat using paper towels.
6.Sprinkle salt on grilled slices and glaze it with condensed vinegar mixture and serve with toasted bread wedges. Delicious grilled recipe ready to serve.
