Everyone loves to have snacks but the fat which settles in the tummy makes people stop from having snacks so if you want to have healthy low fat snack then here is a low snack recipe made with flax seeds and nuts. Flax seeds have numerous health benefits so try out this healthy low fat snack.
Low fat healthy flax seeds and nuts cookies can be combines with morning or evening drink and kids love it. Flax seeds and nuts cookies recipe is easy to make too.
Flax seeds and nuts cookies recipe:
Ingredients

cup
whole
flax
seeds
1

cups
buttermilk
or
skimmed
milk
with
1
tsp
of
lemon
juice
2
cups
flour
'
cup
grounded
flax
seeds
2
eggs
cinnamon,
cloves
sea
salt
butter
sugar
olive
oil
2
tsp
vanilla
essence
almonds
and
raisins
for
garnishing
Directions to make flax and nuts cookies recipe:
1. In a bowl, soak flax seeds in buttermilk or skimmed milk and soak for 2 hours
2. In a large bowl, mix all the dry ingredients.
3. In another bowl, beat olive oil, butter, sugar, eggs and add vanilla essence.
4. Combine the liquid and dry ingredients and blend to make a paste. Add almonds and raisins to it.
5. Preheat oven to 375'. apply cookie sheet and scoop the paste with spoon and bake it for 15 minutes.
