The cornflakes chivda can be nutritious and rich depending on the ingredients added. Here is how you can prepare.

Ingredients:
- 1 bowl cornflakes
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 cup dry coconut pieces
- 1 cup curry leaves
- 2-3 dry chillies
- Salt as per requirement
- 2 tbsp oil
- Cashews, raisins and almonds
- Pinch of asafoetida
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
How to make this kids recipe in microwave?
1.
To
the
bowl
of
cornflakes,
add
a
teapoon
of
oil,
salt,
chili
powder,
turmeric
and
heat
it
in
microwave
for
about
30
seconds.
2.
In
a
pan,
fry
the
nuts
with
a
teaspoon
of
oil
(until
golden
brown).
3.
In
another
pan,
fry
asafoetida,
mustard,
red
chilies,
curry
leaves,
dry
coconut
pieces
and
leave
it
aside
to
cool.
4.
Combine
all
of
the
above
and
your
cornflakes
chivda
is
ready.
This can be a yummy tea time snack with puffed rice or can also be had with hot bisi bele bath or curd rice.
