Tuna Fish Ki Sabzi Recipe
We use many types of fish to satisfy our taste buds. The pinkish tuna fish for example is widely used and considered healthy. Not only it tastes delicious but is healthy due to its nutrients and vitamin count. Tuna fish is healthy for the heart due to Omega-3 fatty acids present in it. The high amount of Omega-3 fatty acids also improves eye vision and reduces bad cholesterol from the body. The healthy fatty acid also prevents ovarian, breast and pancreatic cancer.
So, the healthy type of fish can be used to prepare delicious and nutritious side dishes. Lets take a look at the basic tuna fish ki sabzi recipe. Like the Indian recipes, this dish is spicy and lip smacking.

Ingredients
- Tuna fish- 2 cans
- Onion- 1 (chopped)
- Tomato- 1 (finely chopped)
- Garlic- 4-5 pods (chopped)
- Ginger- 1 inch (chopped)
- Green chillies- 3 (chopped)
- Turmeric powder- 1tsp
- Red chilli powder- 1tsp
- Coriander powder- 1tsp
- Cumin seeds powder- 1tsp
- Tandoori masala- ½ tsp
- Lemon juice- 1tsp
- Salt- as per taste
- Oil- 1tbsp
Procedure
- Drain and squeeze water from the tuna pieces. Keep aside.
- Heat oil in a frying pan. Saute the onions in it till it turns translucent.
- Add ginger, garlic, turmeric powder, and green chillies. Cook on a medium flame for another 2 minutes.
- Sprinkle salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, tandoori masala, cumin seeds powder and mix well.
- Now add the chopped tomatoes into the pan and cook on a medium flame for another 2-3 minutes.
- When the tomato becomes soft and pulpy, add tuna pieces. Cover and cook on a medium flame for 5-6 minutes. Add little water if you want to make it a gravy.
- Once done, add lemon juice and mix well.
Tuna fish ki sabzi is ready to eat. Serve it hot with rotis or rice.
