Creamy Spinach Stuffed Chicken For V-Day

Spinach stuffed chicken is usually prepared as a casserole. All you need are two chicken breasts, spinach and some spices to try this stuffed chicken recipe. It is not very complicated to try this chicken in sauce dish. So get started.

Spinach Stuffed Chicken

Serves: 2
Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Cooking Time: 45 minutes

Ingredients

  • Chicken breasts- 2
  • Spinach- 100 grams
  • Fresh cream- 1 cup
  • Garlic pods- 4 (crushed)
  • Pepper- 1tsp
  • Thyme- 1/2tsp
  • Rosemary oil- 1tbsp
  • White wine- 2 cups
  • Butter- 1tbsp
  • Salt-as per taste

Procedure

  1. Heat rosemary oil in a pan. Then season it with 1/2tsp pepper and thyme.
  2. Add garlic and saute for 1 minute on a low flame.
  3. Add the spinach leaves and sprinkle salt from the top.
  4. Add fresh cream and mix it up with the spinach. Cook for around 5-6 minutes on a low flame.
  5. When the spinach is cooked, take it off the flame and keep aside.
  6. Meanwhile cut a deep hollow into both the chicken breasts with a carving knife. Choose a central spot for cutting the chicken breast.
  7. Rub salt and pepper on the chicken pieces and then stuff the insides of the chicken with the spinach you prepared.
  8. Then drizzle molten butter on the chicken and place it on a baking dish.
  9. Bake it for the duration of 20-25 minutes in a oven pre-heated to 300 degrees.
  10. As the chicken gets baked, pour white wine into a deep bottomed pan. Let it bubble for 5 minutes on a low flame.
  11. Now remove the spinach stuffed chicken from the oven and pour the white wine sauce over it.

Serve the spinach stuffed chicken hot with salad and more wine.
