Chicken With Garlic n Tomato Recipe
Indian cuisine is very popular for its spicy and tangy dishes. The lip smacking taste and aroma of Indian curries and gravies have made this cuisine a hit even in the international markets. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian recipes holds a special place in the Indian palate.

Ingredients
- Chicken- 500 gms (cut into pieces)
- Onions- 2 (chopped)
- Garlic paste- 1½ tsp
- Tomato sauce- 1 cup
- Green chillies- 2 (slit)
- Red chilli- 1 (slit)
- Turmeric powder- 1tsp
- Salt- as per taste
- Oil- 1tbsp
Procedure
- Marinate the chicken pieces in salt and turmeric powder for 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a frying pan.
- Saute the chopped onions for 2 minutes on a medium flame.
- Add garlic paste, green and red chillies and cook till the onions become translucent.
- Now add the marinated chicken pieces and salt. Cook on a medium flame for 10-15 minutes.
- Pour the tomato sauce and mix well. Add little water if required. Cover the lid of the frying pan and cook for another 10 minutes.
- When the chicken pieces become tender and gravy thickens, put the pan off flame.
Chicken with garlic and tomato is ready to eat. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot as a side dish with rice.
