Nutritious Besan Omelette Recipe
Start your day with a healthy meal. This besan omelette recipe is easy to prepare and one of the most loved recipes by all kids. If your kids love eggs, then this recipe is a must. It is healthy and light too. Besan omelette recipe can be prepared in two ways, either fried or roasted. When fried, there is a lot of oil which is used and when roasted, you should be extra careful not to burn it.
Preparing besan omelette recipe is quite simple. In the South, people enjoy this healthy meal along with beaten rice. Rice specialties too can have this simple egg recipe as a side dish.

Ingredients
- Bengal gram flour - 1 1/2 cups
- Tomato - 1 chopped
- Green chillies - 3 to 4 chopped
- Ginger - 1/2 chopped
- Garlic - 6 chopped
- Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
- Coriander - 2 tbsp chopped
- Eggs - 3
Procedure
- Begin by grinding the green chilies, ginger and garlic to a paste.
- Beat the three eggs in a bowl and keep aside.
- Now mix the besan, ground paste, cumin seeds, coriander leaves and chopped tomato to the egg mixture.
- Add in the water and make a thin batter.
- Sprinkle a little salt.
- Now, heat a tawa, grease it with a little oil and then and pour a little batter to the hot tawa. Spread into a thin circle and cook till done.
- When done, fold it and serve immediately.
Your besan omelette is now ready to eat. Serve hot. Add ketchup on the side, to give in a tangy flavour.
