Ingredients

  • Bengal gram flour - 1 1/2 cups
  • Tomato - 1 chopped
  • Green chillies - 3 to 4 chopped
  • Ginger - 1/2 chopped
  • Garlic - 6 chopped
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  • Coriander - 2 tbsp chopped
  • Eggs - 3

Procedure

  1. Begin by grinding the green chilies, ginger and garlic to a paste.
  2. Beat the three eggs in a bowl and keep aside.
  3. Now mix the besan, ground paste, cumin seeds, coriander leaves and chopped tomato to the egg mixture.
  4. Add in the water and make a thin batter.
  5. Sprinkle a little salt.
  6. Now, heat a tawa, grease it with a little oil and then and pour a little batter to the hot tawa. Spread into a thin circle and cook till done.
  7. When done, fold it and serve immediately.

Your besan omelette is now ready to eat. Serve hot. Add ketchup on the side, to give in a tangy flavour.
