It is an easy Thanksgiving recipe that has marked advantages over the traditional ones like stuffed turkey. First of all the cooking process of Turkey cutlets is not very complicated and then it takes at least 5 hours to turn out a good roast! Who has all that time?

By using this turkey recipe you will be preserving tradition and also your convenience. It is basically a ground turkey recipe. As it uses the minced meat of turkey, this easy Thanksgiving recipe cooks very easily and it is also very delicious due to the spices used in it.

Ingredients For Turkey Cutlets:

1. Minced turkey meat (300 grams)
2. Baby onions-4 (chopped finely)
3. Garlic-3-4 cloves (grated)
4. Onion greens or stalks-3-4 (chopped finely)
5. Green bell peppers or capsicum-1 (grated)
6. Green chillies-4 (grated)
7. Ground pepper-1 tablespoon
8. Cardamon seeds-1 pinch
9. Vinegar-1 teaspoon
10. Corn flour-' cup
11. Bread crumbs-1 cup
12. Salt as per taste
13. Oil-3 tablespoons

Procedure For Turkey Cutlets:

  • Marinate the ground turkey meat with vinegar and salt for about 10 minutes.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan and saute the baby onions in it for 2 minutes on low flame. Add the garlic, onion greens and bell peppers next.
  • Cook for another 2 minutes and then add the spices with the grated green chillies. Stir and cook for another 2 minutes.
  • Pour the minced meat into the pan and keep stirring to mix it well. Cover and cook for 4-5 minutes until the juices ooze. Then put the flame on high and dry them out.
  • Let the meat cool for an hour and then mix it with corn flour and water solution to increase adhesion. Make flat cutlets out of it and roll them in bread crumbs.
  • Fry the these cutlets on low flame for uniform cooking.

Serve these spicy turkey cutlets with mayonnaise and soy sauce as your innovative Thanksgiving 2011 dinner.
