The fashion brand Balenciaga is back with a bang after the bondage bear scandal. Balenciaga's creative director has shared that, as a brand, he wishes to ‘go back to his roots' after the brand's ill-considered bondage bear ad campaign last year. It sort of provided a reference to child abuse that included featuring children with teddy bear bags with studs and harnesses surrounded by adult items including wine glasses. The ad campaign received a lot of criticism.

The brand had also cut ties with rapper Kanye West who modelled for their last show in Paris in September. The reason behind the same is, the rapper had made a few controversial comments about Jews.

Fashion followers are excited about how the clothing brand Schiaparelli will score at the latest show in PFW 2023. The brand's last haute couture show in January led by the US designer Daniel Roseberry was graced by Kylie Jenner. The diva wore a black ensemble with a fake animal head as an embellishment or accessory. The collection received mixed reactions from the audiences.

Post his Wednesday sees the first show from the house of Paco Rabanne since his death at the age of 88 in early February.

Return of Pierre Cardin

Popular design house Pierre Cardin is returning to the runway for the first time in 25 years, post its founder's demise in 2020. Director Rodrigo Basilicati-Cardin shared that the new collection has been crafted by the brand's in-house team and we have not collaborated with an outside designer.

Also, it will be the first Vivienne Westwood show since the dame's demise in December 2022. The fashionistas are super excited about the creative collections presented by these popular couture brands!
