Day 1 of The Jabong Lakme Fashion Week 2015 Summer Resort has come to an end. Manish Malhotra, ace designer and a favourite among every Bollywood celebrity has finally made heads turn with his collection, ‘The Blue Runway'.

Malhotra presents his Blue Runway collection at Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2015 in Mumbai, in association with Wevolve.

The global campaign partners up with the World Bank, UN Women and ELLE India, which looks to challenge existing social norms that lead to gender-based violence.

The ‘for a cause' collection features a lot of yellow and indigo hues which are the latest colours for the season. You will also got to see a touch of ivory which adds to make his latest summer collection all the more jaw-dropping.

On the other hand, each of these attires featured on the LFW 2O15 ramp contains patterns which are earthly and so unique.

The designer Manish Malhotra captivates our mind with different sections for lehengas,sarees and suits all dedicated for the modern woman.

What's more interesting is how he displays these heavy breath-taking outfits in a colour-coridnated manner.

All in all we are proud to say that day 1 was a grand success with ace designer Manish Malhotra's much talked about Blue Runway collection. We look forward to what day 2 has in store for all you fashionistas.
