Amazon India Couture Week 2015: Anju Modi Persian Collection 'Kashish'
'Bajirao Mastani' inspires Anju Modi's AICW 2015 collection, Kashish. Looking through the collection we thought there would be some outfits from the movie showcased on the ramp at Amazon India Couture Week 2015. But, to our luck, this entire collection of Modi's is new.
Drawn from the Persian culture, the ramp as you will see is filled with bright colours, contemporary palace prints defining royalty at it's best. The rich textile heritage and design legacy is seen in this couture line showcased on day 3 at the AICW 2015. The models walking the ramp portray bits and pieces of the Persian influence, because it is a mixture of Indian sensibilities.
Anju Modi's AICW 2015 Kashish collection is of an ancient civilization. Each of these pieces have a history of heritage, tradition. We have fallen in love with the rich architectural patterns and Mughal motifs.
Here are some of the best from the line on day at AICW 2015, take a look:

A Complete Blend
It's the art of blending blends contemporary design with traditional textiles. This is one of her best collections ever at AICW.

Touch Of Colours
This This silhouettes is as an abstract inspiration which reflects Islamic & Persian influences.

Palace Prints
The men's collection by Anju Modi was indeed mind-blowing. This navy blue pathan with intricate work a the border was splendid.

Printed Lehengas
Each of Anju Modi's outfits had a rich meaning to it. This printed lehenga with a gold border and crimson silk dupatta looked priceless.

An Aura Of Fashion
Kashish is drawn from Persian culture. Modi's couture at AICW 2015 also translate into `fierce' in real life, like your Bollywood heroines in Ram Leela and Bajirao Mastani?

Pure Gold & Black
Black is an all time favourite for women. This rich heavy lehenga features blaring gold details against a black background.

Red Contrast
The colour red is supposedly a princess's most love colour. The model is seen wearing a lemon suit matched with a red and gold zari dupatta.

Beaded Cholis
Beaded cholis were extensively used in this collection by Anju Modi at AICW 2015.

Elaborate Head Veils
The head veils in this collection were simply wow. The model is wearing a white veil that has gold zardosi work on it.

Velvet Suits
Some of the fabrics used in this persian collection - Kashish, were of velvet. This velvet jacket is beautiful and glitsy.

Shades Of Blue
Sensuality at it's best was seen on the ramp of day 3 at AICW 2015. We are fascinated over the striking blue choli.

Heavy Work On Suits
One of the things that took our breath away in the Anju Modi collection at AICW 2015 is the usage of silver and gold colours. It was perfectly blended.

High Cholis
The lehenga features a high collar with heavy accessories. Don't forget to pay notice to the sheer dupatta as well.

Accessories
The ramp was filled with a vibrant setting by designer Anju Modi. The accessories on her models were gold and shimmering, close enough to draw in that extra attention to her outfits.

Men In Gold Too
Men too were basking in gold on the ramp of day 3 at AICW 2015.

Turbans & More
Some of the male models also sported a turban which went well with the Persian theme. It was a breath of fresh air!!!
