LFW'14: Jacqueline Fernandez Walks For Tarun Tahiliani
Tarun Tahiliani is one of the ace fashion designers who has showcased an eye-cacthy collection at Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2014. Tarun Tahiliani is known for his ethereal bridal designs and magnificent drapes. The stage was beautifully set and designed with dim lighting to bring the perfect mood and charm. The music added fire to the environment!
The summer collection of Tarun Tahiliani had vivid colours, prints and intricate designs. Archana Akhil Kumar opened the show of Tarun Tahiliani. We saw almost stylish contemporary Indian collection of Tarun Tahiliani at Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2014. From anarkalis to sarees and lehengas, traditional Indian outfits were beautifully created with accessories, intricate designs, embroidery and prints. The accessories from Reliance Jewels gave a finishing touch to his collection.
Seems like Tarun Tahiliani has given an ode to the bold and classy colours, black and white. However, we even saw other colours like golden, sunshine yellow, purple, maroon etc. Floral prints in different colours added brightness on the ramp.
LFW: SEXY SUMMER WEAR BY NIKHIL THAMPI
Black silhouettes and outfits had silver sequin work which looked chic. We even saw hues of white and monochrome prints. From knee length skirts to cotton printed sarees, Tarun Tahiliani's contemporary touch to his summer 2014 collection was very impressive. Plain white sarees with black sequinned borders and sheer blouses looked fashionable at the LFW ramp.
Cape anarkalis, thread embroidered kurtas, golden embellishment and sheer dupattas which covered the head like a ghunghat added a desi charm on the ramp. The show wrapped up with stylish Sri Lankan beauty, Jacqueline Fernandez.
Jacqueline Fernandez looked traditional in a red and orange coloured anarkali which had golden zari embroidery on the borders. She too covered her head with the pallu. The light red net lehenga anarkali was worn with a pink coloured net dupatta. She accessorised the look with Reliance Jewels jewellery.
